Youth Village

Parent safety & privacy summary

Plain-language answers for parents and guardians. This is a design commitment, not a legal compliance claim.

No youth accounts

Minors never get logins, usernames, chat, DMs, public profiles or marketplace access. A parent or guardian creates and controls every youth profile.

What we collect — and what we never ask for

A nickname or first name, an age band (never an exact birthdate), and your consent. We never ask for a child's home address, school, photos, diagnoses, location history or other sensitive details.

Private by default

Youth profiles are visible only to the guardian who created them (and platform administrators for safety and operations). There is no public youth directory and no search.

Your control

You can edit, withdraw an interest, or permanently delete a youth profile at any time from My Family. Deletion removes the profile and its interests.

Guardians present

Youth activities require a parent or authorized guardian present unless a separately vetted, licensed and insured program explicitly provides otherwise. Our Park Patrol drop-off option stays locked until every compliance prerequisite is verified — and we will never claim licenses or clearances we don't have.

18–24 young adults

Members 18 and over participate as independent adults with their own accounts. Their records are not shared with parents or anyone else by default.

Honest limits

A consent checkbox is not COPPA compliance, and good intentions are not a child-care license. Before any supervised drop-off program operates, it will be reviewed against applicable Florida licensing, screening and insurance requirements.

Report a concern

Contact us any time via the contact page. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. Florida Abuse Hotline: 1-800-962-2873. See also our Child Safety Policy.

Draft policy for pre-launch. Review with a Florida-licensed attorney before operating services.
