Child Safety Policy
Children's safety is non-negotiable across every FamVillage program. Here's how we design for it.
Guardians stay present and responsible
Any family activity or outing assistance requires a parent or legal guardian to attend and supervise their children at all times.
Services we never provide
Unsupervised childcare, babysitting, overnight caregiving, child transport, physical discipline, therapy, or any intimate or romantic companionship.
Youth Village protections
Minors never receive accounts, chat, DMs, public profiles or marketplace access. Guardians manage minimal, private youth profiles and can delete them at any time. Youth Council, mentor matching and any youth marketplace are future gated features, not live.
Olympic Tryouts use props only
Chase, carry and piggyback events use cones, dummies and padded weighted props. No child ever participates.
Park Patrol drop-off stays locked
The drop-off option for Step Daddy Park Patrol cannot be enabled until licensing, background screening, insurance, guardian consent forms, emergency plans, staff ratios and venue policies are all verified. Until then it is a guardian-present family activity only.
Provider screening
No provider is presented as background-checked until FamVillage has recorded a passed screening. Screening documentation is restricted to administrators.
Data
Children's details are never placed in public profiles or shared by default.
Report a concern
Use the Report button in the community, or contact us. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. To report abuse in Florida, call the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873.
